Why UCDH is a GREAT CHOICE!
1. Sixty (60) Students Accepted Each Class
UCDH is the largest private dental hygiene college in the state of Utah. The campus covers over 24,000 square feet devoted completely to dental hygiene education. The dental hygiene clinic is equipped with a total of sixty (60) full dental operatories, two large classrooms with dual color projectors, eighteen (18) X-ray bays, an on-site Learning Resource Center and computer lab with twenty-eight (28) stations, and a fully equipped dental materials lab. The college also has an on site full-time librarian to assist students with class research projects and writing assignments. Currently the college has a 4:1 student to instructor clinical ratio (which is better than the required 5:1 clinic ratio found in many other dental hygiene programs).

Graduates may also apply to take state and/or regional exams in all 50 states and in many foreign countries. The United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics lists the occupational and employment wages in May of 2008 for Dental Hygienist's from the entry level salary range of $44,180 dollars annually to a median salary of $66,570 per year!
