The Utah College of Dental Hygiene offers an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) degree in only 20 months.

- Applicants DO NOT need to have all of their prerequisite courses completed in order to apply, receive an interview, and be conditionally accepted into the dental hygiene class that is beginning in September 2025.

Give Kids A Smile 2025

Saturday, March 1st, 2025 the Utah College of Dental Hygiene will be holding the annual Utah County Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) dental event. Volunteer dentists and hygienists will be on-hand to provide exams and perform limited procedures for qualified children.

The Utah College of Dental Hygiene (UCDH) at Careers Unlimited was established in 2005 to provide accelerated dental hygiene education in the heart of Utah Valley. Since 2007 UCDH has graduated over 1000 dental hygienists! 

We believe this high graduation number demonstrates our ongoing record of being devoted to our students success in completing our program.  Many of our graduates have worked, or are working, as registered dental hygienists (RDH) throughout the United States.  At UCDH you can earn a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) from a private college in only 20 months*.  This unique program is the only one of it's kind in Utah.  The College currently has a 5:1 student to instructor clinical ratio.

Accreditation: The program in dental hygiene is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education. CODA can be contacted at (800) 621-8099, ext. 4653, ada.org.

*The 20 month timeframe for the accelerated Bachelor's Degree is based on entering the program with 33 semester credit hours of prerequisite coursework completed and awarded at an accredited institution within the United States with an acceptable and passing grade of a C or higher while maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA for science and general prerequisites.  Information on this Website is subject to change without notice. All site visitors are responsible for verifying the information provided is up to date.
