The Utah College of Dental Hygiene (UCDH) was established in 2005 to provide accelerated dental hygiene education in the heart of Utah Valley. Since 2007 UCDH has graduated over 1000 dental hygienists! We believe this high graduation number demonstrates our ongoing record of being devoted to our students success in completing our program. Many of our graduates have worked, or are working, as registered dental hygienists (RDH) throughout the United States. At UCDH you can earn a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) from a private college in only 20 months*. This unique program is the only one of it's kind in Utah. The College currently has a 5:1 student to instructor clinical ratio. *The 20 month timeframe for the BSDH program requires a minimum of 122 credit hours, which includes 33 hours of prerequisite general education coursework. The curriculum is structured into semesters. One credit hour equals fifteen hours of study for lecture components or thirty hours of study for laboratory, clinical and independent study components. Breaks are scheduled between all semesters. |
