Keynote Speaker: Gerald R. Molen

 

Gerald R. Molen is an Academy Award winning film Producer who began his career in the film industry almost 50 years ago, working first in the transportation department and then the production department.  He served four years as Head of Physical Production at Amblin Entertainment for Steven Spielberg (1992-1996).  He is currently semi-retired from the entertainment industry.  He presently serves as Co-Chairman & Creative Director for White Light Entertainment, a company dedicated to producing family oriented and family friendly entertainment.  In addition he serves as co-host on the internet radio show "Stand Up America" with host General Paul Vallely.

 

He presently serves on the Board of Governors for the Utah Shakespearean Festival, The University of Montana Media ARTS Advisory Board, and McLaughlin Research Institute in Great Falls, Montana.  He has received an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from the University of Montana and an Honorary Doctorate of Performing and Visual Arts from Southern Utah University, Cedar City. Dr. Molen resides with his wife of 52 years, Patricia in the Northwest United States, and happily celebrates his favorite titles of loving husband, grandfather, and great grandfather.
